बृहस्पतिवार की सुबह को नगर के मेरठ मार्ग पर स्थित रहने वाली महिला श्रद्धालु रोडवेज डिपों में बने शिव मंदिर में पूजा करने के लिए गई थी। जैसे ही वह मंदिर में पहुंची तो देखा कि मंदिर के दानपात्र टूटा पड़ा हुआ है। जबकि उसके अंदर से सरकारी नकदी गायब थी। सूचना पर आस पास के लोग एकत्र हो गए। लोगों ने बताया कि मंदिर के दान पात्र में करीब तीन हजार की नकदी थी। लोगों ने मामले की जानकारी पुलिस को दी। पुलिस ने मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है
