पटाखे की चिंगारी से पुलिस चौकी में खड़े लाखों रुपए के वाहनों में लगी आग, फायरबिग्रेड ने पाया आग पर काबू
हापुड़। थाना गढ़मुक्तेश्वर क्षेत्र की ब्रजघाट चौकी परिसर में दीपावली की रात भीषण आग लग गई। पटाखों की चिंगारी से चौकी में खड़े कई सीज वाहन जलकर राख हो गए। फायरबिग्रेड ने घंटों की मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पाया।
जानकारी के अनुसार दीपावली की रात आतिशबाजी के दौरान पटाखों की एक चिंगारी चौकी परिसर में खड़े वाहनों पर जा गिरी। देखते ही देखते आग ने विकराल रूप ले लिया और मौके पर अफरातफरी मच गई।
आग की लपटें इतनी तेज थीं कि आसपास के लोगों में हड़कंप मच गया। मौके पर मौजूद पुलिसकर्मियों ने तत्काल फायर ब्रिगेड को सूचना दी। कुछ ही देर में दमकल की कई गाड़ियां मौके पर पहुंचीं और आग बुझाने का प्रयास शुरू किया। पुलिस और दमकल कर्मियों को आग पर काबू पाने में काफी मशक्कत करनी पड़ी।
आग इतनी भीषण थी कि कई वाहन पूरी तरह जलकर खाक हो गए। हालांकि, फायरकर्मियों की सूझबूझ से बड़ा हादसा टल गया।
