आज जिलाधिकारी मेधा रूपम व पुलिस अधीक्षक दीपक भूकर गढ़ गंगा कार्तिक पूर्णिमा स्नान मेले के सफल आयोजन हेतु मेले में लगाए गए जोनल व सेक्टर मजिस्ट्रेटो के साथ मेला स्थल पर बैठक कर रहे थे। बैठक में जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि जिस जोनल व सेक्टर मजिस्ट्रेट की ड्यूटी जिस स्थान पर लगाई गई है वह वहीं पर तैनात रहे और निरंतर घाटों का भी निरीक्षण करते रहे। मेले में आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं को किसी भी प्रकार की असुविधा ना हो इसका विशेष ध्यान रखा जाए। मेले में जहां-जहां भी संकेत चिन्ह लगाने की आवश्यकता और जहां पर बैरिकेडिंग की जानी है वह समय से पूर्ण करा दी जाए। मेले में लोगों को जानकारी देते रहे कि गंगा में स्नान हेतु गहरे जल में ना जाए। फ्लोटिंग ट्यूब तैयार रहे । मेले में प्रकाश की समुचित व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए। जिलाधिकारी ने अधिशासी अधिकारी नगर पालिका परिषद गढ़मुक्तेश्वर पर कड़ी नाराजगी जताते हुए कहा कि मेले में अभी तक डस्टबिन व साफ सफाई की समुचित व्यवस्था नहीं की गई है। मेले में अलग-अलग स्थानों पर 300 डस्टबिन होने चाहिए। घाटों के आसपास पेयजल व्यवस्था हेतु पानी के टैंकर खड़े किए जाएं और संपूर्ण मेला क्षेत्र में हाई मास्क लाइट लग जानी चाहिए। एक्शन जल निगम ने जिलाधिकारी को अवगत कराया कि मेले में अब तक 230 हेड पंप लगाए जा चुके हैं। कार्तिक पूर्णिमा मेले में लगने वाले झूलो पर सहायक अभियंताओं को तैनात किया जाए ताकि कोई दुर्घटना ना होने पाए। जिलाधिकारी ने जिला पंचायत राज अधिकारी को निर्देश दिए कि वीआईपी घाट पर साफ सफाई कराना सुनिश्चित करें । जिलाधिकारी ने मेले स्थल पर अभी तक चिकित्सा सुविधा हेतु अस्पताल ने बनाए जाने पर कड़ी नाराजगी व्यक्त की। उन्होंने मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी को निर्देशित किया कि मेले में दवाइयां व डॉक्टरों की टीम तथा एंबुलेंस इत्यादि तत्काल भिजवाना सुनिश्चित करें । जिलाधिकारी ने सभी अधिकारियों को अवगत कराते हुए कहा कि कल 4 नवंबर 2022 को अपराहन 3:30 बजे कार्तिक पूर्णिमा मेले का मंडल आयुक्त मेरठ द्वारा उद्घाटन किया जाना भी प्रस्तावित है और पर्यटन मंत्री माननीय जय वीर सिंह जी का भी सांय 6:00 बजे मेले में आगमन होगा। इस अवसर पर 5100 दीपक गंगा घाट पर प्रकाशमान किए जाएंगे। बैठक में मुख्य विकास अधिकारी प्रेरणा सिंह अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक मुकेश मिश्र पुलिस क्षेत्राधिकारी गढ़मुक्तेश्वर सहित जिला स्तरीय अधिकारी व सभी जोनल एवं सेक्टर मजिस्ट्रेट उपस्थित रहे। रंजना शर्मा जिला सूचना अधिकारी हापुड़।
